You can apply if :
- Your project is based in Cameroon (or in a partner country).
- You are seeking funding between 1,000,000 and 65,000,000 CFA francs.
- Your solution is innovative and can be deployed at a regional or continental scale.
- Your team is multidisciplinary and committed.
- You already have initial results (clients, revenue, community, traction).
- You operate in one of the following sectors:
Agritech • Energy • Fintech • Medtech • Edutech • Recycling • CCI (cultural and creative industries).
FAQ
How do I submit my application and what happens next?
To apply, simply fill out the online form and complete the presentation template available on our website. Once we receive your application, our team reviews it and gets back to you for the next steps: selection, coaching, and preparation for the pitch sessions in front of investors.
The program is aimed at entrepreneurs and project leaders based in Sub-Saharan Africa, whether they are in the creation, development, or fundraising phase. We are looking for small and medium-sized businesses, as well as innovative projects with strong economic and social impact, with funding needs between 500,000 CFA francs and 656 million CFA francs, including needs below 500,000 CFA francs.
How will I know if my application has been accepted?
Once your application has been submitted via the online form and the associated template, our team performs a full review of your file. Whether you are selected or not, you will receive an official response by email.
If your project is shortlisted, we will contact you directly to inform you about the next steps in the process: interviews, preparation coaching, and participation in the pitch sessions. Make sure to check your email inbox (including spam) and provide up-to-date contact details when you apply.
Where and how do the shootings take place?
The recordings for the AFIME – Africa Impact Entrepreneurs program take place in professional partner studios located in the main cities of Sub-Saharan Africa, in order to ensure a high-quality production environment that is accessible to entrepreneurs in the region.
For this first edition, the recordings will take place exclusively in Douala, Cameroon.
We have chosen to shine a spotlight on this Central African country and its entrepreneurial talent before taking our cameras to other destinations in the sub-region for future seasons.
